Right of withdrawal for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

If several goods are ordered as part of a single order and delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

If goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece.

In the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period of time, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the first goods.

by means of an unequivocal statement, for example by a letter sent by post or by email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

Withdraw from contract

If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay on a durable medium, for example by email. This acknowledgement will contain information on the content of your withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notification of withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract to:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist or expires for the following contracts:

contracts for the delivery of goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;
contracts for the delivery of goods which, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
contracts for the delivery of sound or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed after delivery;
contracts for the delivery of goods that are made to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs;
contracts for the delivery of goods that may deteriorate quickly or whose expiry date would quickly be exceeded;
contracts for services, if Römhold Modular has fully performed the service and you expressly agreed before placing the order that we may begin providing the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period and that you lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed;
contracts for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts;
contracts for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed when the purchase contract was concluded, but which can only be delivered after 30 days at the earliest and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market over which the trader has no influence.
